Torchwood is forced underground as the government takes swift and brutal action. As members of the team are hunted down, Britain risks becoming a rogue state. An online UK Comedy Guide called Chortle are reporting that the actor and comedian Lawry Lewin will be playing a part in the last two Doctor Who 2009 specials which see the regeneration of the 10th Doctor. Although his role is being kept top secret it is reported that he will apparently be playing a geeky character who is said to be "a bit of a comedy turn". An apparent source said; "Details of the storyline are strictly under wraps, obviously, but his character plays a pivotal role in the climactic sequence of events leading to David Tennant’s departure." Lewin has previously appeared in Touch Me I’m Karen Taylor and The Life And Times Of Vivienne Vyle. Please note that at this time these are only rumours which may turn out to be incorrect.June 1, 2009 by Conor Torchwood
