Final viewing figures for episode 12 of Doctor Who Series 4 have been released. The figures show that The Stolen Earth was watched by 8.78 million people. The episode was the second highest rated programme of the week, only the second time in the series' 45 year history that it has achieved such a position. The other episode to score so high was last Christmas's Voyage of the Damned. The BBC Three Sunday night repeat of the episode got 1.01 million viewers.
