2entertain have now released the cover and some details for the upcoming DVD release of this years Doctor Who Christmas special, The Next Doctor. The episode is sixty minutes long and the DVD is also expected to feature the 2008 Doctor Who Proms (which will be televised on the 1st of January, more on that can be found here), which was a Doctor Who musical event which was held at the Royal Albert Hall in Summer and which was presented by Freema Agyeman. The DVD will be released on the 19th of January 2009, and the Doctor Who episode itself will air on Christmas Day on BBC One at 6pm.
