According to various different sources, the name of one of the monsters that will feature in the upcoming Doctor Who special Planet of the Dead, will be the Tritovore and it is rumoured they will be half-man half-fly creatures. We know that two new alien species will feature in the episode as it was revealed by Russell T Davies. The Daily Mail is reporting that the these new aliens are set to be the scariest ever, and that the Doctor Who team want them to become as iconic as the Daleks and the Cybermen, but please note that at the moment these are only rumours and they may turn out to be false.
