As usual Doctor Who is up for two Awards this year. Best Drama and Best Drama Performance. It will have tough competition though as in the Best Drama category it will go up against Sherlock, Waterloo Road and Shameless. Matt Smith has been nominated for Best Drama Performance for his role as the Doctor. He will go up against David Jason who is nominated for playing DI Jack Frost in A Touch of Frost which ended last year, Benedict Cumberbatch who played Sherlock in Moffat's adaptation of the crime novels and Ashes to Ashes star Philip Glenister.
