The Millenium Stadium once again is doubling as Stormcage. Caught a glimpse of Alex Kingston, she had a coat on so not sure what she was wearing (probably her prison clothes from series five). Didn't manage to get a photo of her, BUT, I did get one of, presumably, a fellow prisoner, who you'll recognise from The Pandorica Opens.

The annual Radio Times cover party took place on Tuesday evening and two very famous people from the Who world attended, David Tennant & Karen Gillan. They did a photo shoot together which you can see below:
Karen was invited because of her cover back in June for the episode "The Pandorica Opens" and David was there because of his "Single Father" cover. You can see more photos on their website here, where you can also see one with David Tennant and Steven Moffat.
Below you can see this year's Doctor Who Easter egg which is supplied by BonBonBuddies UK. It is expected to hit the big supermarkets like Morrisons, Sainsburys, Tesco and Asda sometime within the next month.
Four more actors have been signed up to guest star in the next series of Doctor Who. Comedian Charlie Baker will appear in an episode, and he will be known as "Fat Man". Whilst in the same episode that Baker is in, Sold star Dan Johnston will play the character "Thin Man". Also, Spotlight claims that actresses Fern Duncan and Frances Encell have been cast for Voice Overs. It has also been confirmed that Spooks and Mistresses director will direct an upcoming episode of Doctor Who.

BBC Worldwide is delighted to announce a major new deal with Character Options' new Construction division which will see Doctor Who enter the construction toy market for the first time.
The Character Building range will include 3D micro-figures, brought to life with sculpted facial features whilst play sets will be uniquely tailored to Doctor Who. Fans will be able to build their own Doctor Who world with all their favourite characters including the Doctor and Amy Pond with their famous foes the Daleks, Cybermen and Weeping Angels.
Distinctive to the Character Building range will be the use of texture on some of the building blocks, whether it be the sleek and smooth edges of a spaceship, or the rough edges of a rock face. This will be pivotal in recreating each environment, providing a natural look, but still allowing easy construction play. The entire range will be displayed at the Character Options stand at the London Toy Fair with the first products set for release in Spring 2011.
Matt Smith and Karen Gillan have already seen their new figures and commented:
Matt Smith: "It was very surreal and funny coming face to face with a miniature version of myself as the Doctor but I'm glad that the Doctor's trusty Sonic Screwdriver is in his hand, ready to fend off attacks from monsters!"

As usual Doctor Who is up for two Awards this year. Best Drama and Best Drama Performance. It will have tough competition though as in the Best Drama category it will go up against Sherlock, Waterloo Road and Shameless. Matt Smith has been nominated for Best Drama Performance for his role as the Doctor. He will go up against David Jason who is nominated for playing DI Jack Frost in A Touch of Frost which ended last year, Benedict Cumberbatch who played Sherlock in Moffat's adaptation of the crime novels and Ashes to Ashes star Philip Glenister. Voting closes on Wednesday 26th January at 12pm. You can see the results on the same day from 7.30pm on ITV 1. Click here to vote.
The cover for a new Doctor Who audiobook has been revealed. This story, titled “The Gemini Contagion” is written by Jason Arnopp and features the Doctor and Amy. It is read by Meera Syal who starred in The Hungry Earth/Cold Blood. The CD will be released on the 3rd of March.
A filming image which surfaced online today reveals that the Sontarans will be returning in Doctor Who series 6. Filming for the final two parter of series 6 part one is currently ongoing. We will keep you updated with more reports.

Tag Games, the makers of Doctor Who: The Mazes of Time for the iPod, iPhone and iPad have today confirmed on their Twitter page that the Android version will be coming out very soon. You can buy the iPod Touch/iPhone version of the game by clicking here.
