A filming report for the second half of Doctor Who series 6 seems to suggest that actor Ian McNiece was spotted on set today with soldiers. Ian McNiece played Winston Churchill in “Victory of the Daleks” and “The Pandorica Opens”. See the original filming report below:

The DW crew are busy filming at Cardiff City Hall today, with reports of soldiers with black shiny uniforms and berets on set (not UNIT). Another old 'friend' of the Doctor seems to be back too, Churchill.

At the moment this is not confirmed so take it with a pinch of salt. If he is back, why? Leave your theories in the comments below!

Karen Gillan, Arthur Darvill and Matt Smith were on set for series 6 filming at the Temple of Peace in Cardiff. Karen and Arthur shot scenes on a motorbike whilst the Doctor looked smart in a suit as Nazi soldiers were nearby.

The Sun have posted new pictures of Matt Smith and James Corden filming for the new series. During the break of filming Matt played with a football, which he is known to love doing. For filming he sported a stetson hat which will also be seen in the open two parter airing next month.

Doctor Who series 6 and Torchwood Miracle Day filming is ongoing. Matt Smith and James Corden were on set filming in a department store cornering off a Cybermat. Cordens character Craig Owens is seen holding a baby and the Doctor is seen wearing a new jacket. Check out pictures below.

Meanwhile filming for Torchwood Miracle Day is currently taking place in California where Eve Myles was seen on Venice Beach talking on the phone.

Matt Smith, Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill were on set for Doctor Who in Cardiff yesterday filming scenes which could be spoilery for those avoiding spoilers. The scene filmed seemed to indicate that Amy was leaving the Doctor and heading off with Rory, however this may not be the case at all. The filming is for part 2 of series 6, see the filming pictures below.

The Millenium Stadium once again is doubling as Stormcage. Caught a glimpse of Alex Kingston, she had a coat on so not sure what she was wearing (probably her prison clothes from series five). Didn't manage to get a photo of her, BUT, I did get one of, presumably, a fellow prisoner, who you'll recognise from The Pandorica Opens.

A filming image which surfaced online today reveals that the Sontarans will be returning in Doctor Who series 6. Filming for the final two parter of series 6 part one is currently ongoing. We will keep you updated with more reports.

Filming for the two part opener of Doctor Who serires 6 started in the Utah desert yesterday. Matt Smith, Karen Gillan, Arthur Darvill, and Alex Kingston were all present on set. Doctor Who continued filming last night at Taffs Well with Matt Smith, Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill. You can see an image of the Tardis in an area of wreckage below thanks to forum user ‘mugim0e’.

Set reporter Alun Vega got some great photos of Matt Smith arriving at the Coal Exchange location for filming on this years Christmas special. Matt was wearing a new jacket which is part of the Doctors costume change for future episodes. Two more images can be seen here.

In other Christmas special news, actor Danny Horn has confirmed that he will be appearing in the festive episode via his Twitter page. And also actor Benedict Cumberbatch has hinted that he may appear in a future episode.

Some filming for SJA series 4 took place behind Newport Market on Tuesday and Daniel Anthony and Anjli Mohindra were seen on set, as well as two robots, one red and one yellow, without their masks on. Pictures below.

Filming for The Sarah Jane Adventures continued last night in Cardiff outside “Bannerman Road”, and Gallifrey Base forum user “Timeboy” has been reporting. You can see his report along with two videos from the filming.

“First scene filmed was Luke creeping outside in his pj's - an evil looking Clyde and Rani taunt him. Clyde rips a piece of paper up, and Rani throws books into an oil drum. Then Sarah Jane comes and throws in what looks like the photo of the trio, Sarah and K9 from The Mad Woman in the Attic. Sarah Jane then lights a match, and the scene is cut...

Then the oil drum is replaced by a special prop one, with some sort of grid inside, that engulfs in flames. Obviously when its cut together it'll be Sarah Jane torching Luke's stuff.

Sarah, Clyde and Rani then leave, and the Nightmare Man comes. Luke shouts "Why are you doing this to me? Why me?" and he replies "You're mind is so ______" (something to do with Luke's mind being more complex). The Nightmare Man shouts "I'M IN EVERYBODY'S NIGHTMARES" and he wants to "unleash a whole world of nightmares". At the end he laughs.”
