BBC SELL THE DOCTORS OUTFIT FOR CHILDREN IN NEED!

To raise money for Children in Need, the Doctor Who team are selling the 11th Doctors outfit on Ebay along with the script for the special Children in Need episode signed by Matt Smith! The current bid for these items is £7,600! The bids are increasing rapidly, and we expect to see a huge rise over the next 4 days before bidding ends! We expect this ties into tonights Doctor Who special which see’s the Doctor strip off his clothes, don’t miss it on BBC One tonight!

For all Doctor Who fans this is an exclusive opportunity not to be missed!

The team at Doctor Who have kindly donated the Doctor's costume, as worn by Matt Smith, in the episodes "The Doctor's Wife" and "Night Terrors". This includes his tweed jacket, jeans, shirt, boots, braces, watch and - of course - bow tie.

Matt has also signed the script for a special episode of Doctor Who which will be shown on The BBC Children in Need Appeal show on Friday 18 November on BBC One. As the script is top secret we can’t show pictures of it until it’s gone out on air – but return to this listing on Friday for more information!

All BBC Children in Need auction items will be sent to the winning bidder with an authenticity certificate and will be dispatched within 5 working days of the payment reaching our paypal account and sent special delivery.

MATT SMITH GOES NUDE FOR CIN SPECIAL

Now we know what the BBC meant when they said the Children in Need Doctor Who special is “not what you’d expect”! Somehow the Doctor will lose his clothes during the mini episode, penned by Steven Moffat. The show starts at 7.30, with the Doctor Who segment expected to be shown during the 8pm – 8.30pm slot on BBC One, but if you miss it don't fret as you can see it here after!



MATT SMITH SHOOTS PRESS PHOTOS FOR CIN SPECIAL

The official Doctor Who Twitter page has tweeted an image of Matt Smith posing with Pudsey Bear whilst sitting on the TARDIS door step for a photoshoot. A press release with some photos will be released tomorrow with more details on the Children in Need special episode, which was also filmed today.

CHILDREN IN NEED MINI EPISODE CONFIRMED

The official Doctor Who Twitter page has revealed that a brand new mini adventure starring Matt Smith will air as part of the Children in Need telethon this Friday! This comes as an extra surprise as the show was already confirmed to air a Christmas special preview clip. See what the Doctor Who team said below:

CHRISTMAS PREVIEW FOR CHILDREN IN NEED

This years Children in Need telethon will continue the usual tradition of showing a preview clip for the upcoming Doctor Who Christmas special! Don’t miss the exclusive sneak peek of the episode, which filming only wrapped up on a couple of weeks ago, on Friday 18th November at 7pm on BBC One!



CHILDREN IN NEED PREVIEWS XMAS SPECIAL



The BBC have revealed that a preview of this years Doctor Who Christmas Special will be shown for Children in Need next month, sometime during the show which is on at 7pm on Friday 19th November BBC One. BBC press release is below.

BBC’s Children in Need spectacular live appeal show returns on Friday 19 November at 7pm on BBC One, with a variety of entertainment acts, all doing their bit to raise money for disadvantaged children and young people across the UK.

Hosted by Terry Wogan and Tess Daly the seven-hour show will come live from BBC Television Centre and will feature some of the UK’s top TV, musical and theatrical personalities and acts.

Backstage Competition Tour Video

The BBC's official Children in Need website has posted a video on the Doctor Who backstage competition. One hundred lucky winners were each able to bring three people with them and they all got to be taken around Upper Boat Studio's which is the home to the Tardis, the Torchwood Hub and Sarah Jane's Attic. You can see the video below;

During the tour winners ended up being joined by Russell T Davies, the executive producer and head writer of Doctor Who, John Barrowman who plays Captain Jack and Eve Myles who plays Gwen Cooper.

The Next Doctor Preview Tonight

Just a reminder to say that there will be a special preview to The Next Doctor tonight as part of the Children in Need charity event. The Next Doctor - Children in Need Preview

The official Doctor Who BBC website has just confirmed that a preview to this years Doctor Who Christmas Special, The Next Doctor will be shown as part of this year's Children in Need Telethon. Viewers will be able to see the first two minutes of the Doctor's next adventure starring David Tennant and David Morrissey. Children in Need Scene?

The BBC Press Office information for Children in Need night says that the evenings entertainment will feature "Children In Need-themed scenes from Doctor Who". At the moment this is unknown if it will actually be a special mini Doctor Who episode. There are some rumours flying around the internet suggesting that there will be a mini episode which is to feature all seven alive Doctors. Whether this is true or not is yet to be seen. Children in Need Competition Details

Full details for the Children in Need competition were revealed today on The Chris Moyles Doctor Who Special. One hundred winner's will get to go to the set of the Tardis, the Torchwood Hub and Sarah Jane's attic all in Upper Boat Studios in Cardiff. Children in Need 2008 Update

A competition is being run to help raise money for this year's BBC Children in Need appeal. One hundred lucky people will get to go to Upper Boat Studio's, which is the home to the Tardis, the Torchwood Hub and Sarah Jane's Attic. The details to this competition will be revealed on the Chris Moyles show on BBC Radio 1 tomorrow morning live from the Tardis from 6.30am - 10pm and the details will be added after on the BBC Doctor Who website and you will be able to listen to The Chris Moyles Doctor Who special after on BBC Radio One's website for the next 7 days.
