Today the Doctor Who 2008 Christmas Special was released on DVD in all good shops across the UK and Ireland. The DVD is out at the RRP of £15.99 and it feature's The Next Doctor which aired on Christmas Day and starred David Tennant as the Doctor and it also stars David Morrisey as Jackson Lake, Dervla Kirwan as Miss Hartigan and Velile Tshabalala as Rosita. The DVD also features the hour long Doctor Who at the Proms programme as a special feature. The Next Doctor runs for approximately 60 minutes and the DVD was released on Region 2 format.
