The ratings for the first two stories of SJA series four have been revealed by BARB. The CBBC showing of The Nightmare Man part one got 0.59 million viewers with part two getting 0.67 million. On BBC Two, part one got 0.21 and part two got 0.31 million viewers.

The CBBC showing of The Vault of Secrets managed to get 0.73 million watching for part one, and 0.60 watching for part two. The BBC One repeat got around 0.40 million viewers. That weeks Sarah Jane Alien Files on CBBC got 0.42 million watching.

The ratings for this years The Sarah Jane Adventures are quite high, it beats any other show in its timeslot.  This years episodes have become some of the most watched programmes on CBBC all year.
