Actress Annabel Cleare has confirmed via Twitter that her and her son will have a small role in the upcoming series of Doctor Who.

Annabel previously worked on documentaries like JFK Revealed and BBC Timewatch, and will be appearing in episode seven of Doctor Who series six part one, written by Steven Moffat.

She wrote on Twitter: “2011 off to slow start but things picking up now, Henry & I got small parts in Doctor Who!"

Doctor Who series 6 will air on BBC One this Spring.
