John Barrowman and Carol E. Barrowman are going to be signing copies of their new co-written book, Hollow Earth.
Two dates have been released for the signing events, where they will ONLY be signing copies of Hollow Earth (so unfortunately, no Torchwood/Doctor Who memorabilia).
The two dates confirmed so far are as follows. If more dates are added, we'll update the post:

Matt Smith was interviewed on BBC Breakfast this morning to promote the release of the complete Doctor Who series 6 boxset, available now on DVD and Blu-ray. He revealed that he will begin filming 13 episodes for series 7 in February followed by a Christmas special, and a 50th anniversary special! See the interview below:
Earlier today Matt was also joined by Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill to sign copies of the boxset in London. The actors also did a Q&A session in an online live stream, if you missed it don't worry as it will be uploaded to Youtube in full soon!

Next month the former Doctor Who executive producer and good friend of the late Lis Sladen, Edward Russell, will be doing a 160 mile walk from Cardiff to London. He will be setting off from the studios where The Sarah Jane Adventures was filmed in Cardiff and stopping at the BBC Televison Centre where Lis first filmed scenes for Doctor Who many years ago in London. The walk is to raise money for Meadow House Hospice, a facility which cared for Elisabeth earlier this year.
Like many of her fans and friends, I was deeply saddened by Lis' death in April 2011 and I hope to raise as much money as possible for this wonderful cause. Starting on Saturday 3 September, I will walk from the BBC's Upper Boat studios in Cardiff (where SJA was filmed), aiming to arrive at the BBC Television Centre (where Lis first filmed Doctor Who) in London the following Friday. I will largely be following the National Cycling Route No. 4 - walking the equivellent of a marathan every day!

The Comic Relief Doctor Who specials will air on BBC One tonight as part of the Comic Relief Telethon for Red Nose Day. Tonight we will see two four minute special episodes featuring the Doctor, Amy and Rory. It is unknown what time these will be shown during the telethon which starts at 7pm. DOCTOR WHO SPACE AND TIME – TONIGHT – BBC ONE/HD – 7PM
Matt Smith attended the launch of the Doctor Who Experience and came face to face with a life-size replica of himself.
Matt had a cast made of his entire face, to allow model makers to put together his double over a two month period, which stands guard outside the Tardis at the exhibition. The star straightened his model's bow tie as they met. Smith said: "I think he's sort of a bit musclier than I am!
"It's a surreal experience to have an image of yourself in 3D. So weird but one of the wonderful privileges of this particular job - you get rather mad experiences."
The star had his face coated in a plaster of Paris-type substance to create the head. He said: "It was quite a harrowing experience. My face was completely covered and I had just like a couple of straws for my nostrils. It was pretty grim."
The interactive walk-through exhibition also includes an interior of the Tardis, the Pandorica which featured in the most recent series, and specially filmed sequences featuring Smith.

Happy New Year to all the Tardis Base readers! The year 2011 will be quite a big one, not just for Doctor Who, but for Torchwood too, as The New World will makes its way to our screens this year, after being off screen for two years! Doctor Who will be a bit different this year too, as we already know, the new series will be split in two, the first half being shown in Spring, and the second half being shown in Autumn, with Torchwood scheduled for a Summer showing during the Doctor Who break.
In Doctor Who this year we will see the Tardis crew go to America, there will be new aliens, plus we will find out who River Song really is, and unanswered questions will be answered, like who or what is the Silence? Rumour has it we will see actor Marnix Van Den Broeke, who is 6'8" tall, play a character called The Silent in the new series…
Plus a brand new series of The Sarah Jane Adventures will be hitting screens, another set of Adventure Games will be out, and maybe some surprises…

The new ten-part series of the Doctor Who spinoff will see the return of regular Torchwood characters Captain Jack Harkness (John Barrowman) and Gwen Cooper (Eve Myles).
Gwen will be shown living peacefully in Wales with husband Rhys (Kai Owen) and new baby Anwen when she encounters a "new, epic danger" that will "push [her] to the limit".
Having left Earth at the conclusion of previous miniseries Children of Earth, Harkness will be drawn back to the Torchwood institute by "his unstated love for Gwen".
Merry Christmas everyone! For Doctor Who fans today is a big day as if sees the return of Doctor Who, for the first time since Summer! Tonight A Christmas Carol will air on BBC One and BBC One HD at 6pm and will be followed by Confidential at 7pm on BBC Three! Famous faces like Michael Gambon and Katherine Jenkins appear alongside the TARDIS crew tonight, as well as a giant CGI flying shark! Today we will see the very first preview for this years Doctor Who Christmas special, A Christmas Carol, as part of tonight’s Children in Need telethon. The show starts at 7pm, but the Doctor Who segment will begin at around 8 or 8.30pm when “The Doctor and Amy throw a tea-party in the TARDIS and serve up a sneak-peek at this year's Doctor Who Christmas special”. We will be bringing you videos of the clips later on today. The show also includes a new Merlin special, a performance from Cheryl Cole, and an Eastenders and Coronation Street crossover. The first Doctor Who 2010 Prom starts off tonight in the Royal Albert Hall and is presented by Matt Smith, Karen Gillan, and Arthur Darvill, the Tardis team! The show features music scores by Murray Gold and monsters will be invading the stage. The show will broadcast live on BBC Radio 3 from 7.30pm and will be available to listen internationally HERE. The show will also be shown on BBC Three later on in the year.

The press launch for Doctor Who series five was held in Cardiff today, which also saw the screening for the first episode, The Eleventh Hour. Matt Smith and Karen Gillian attended the event. Below is an image of the outside of the press launch where there was a display set up of the Tardis knocked over.

UPDATE: At the launch executive producer Piers Wenger confirmed that Doctor Who will return for a Christmas special this year, and a FURTHER FULL 13 EPISODE SIXTH SERIES in 2011, with Matt staying on as the Doctor.
