Matt Smith spoke to Graham Norton on BBC Radio Two about the opening two part story of series 6. He revealed that the Doctor will be meeting The Silence in the US based episodes, the cause of all the troubles faced in last years finale. Matt said: ”I have to say, the first two new episodes are extraordinary, Steven’s done this mad, wonderful job with them, and there’s this new monster called the Silence, it’s the scariest monster in a long a time, I can’t tell you what it does!”
