The BBC have confirmed that they will pay tribute to Elisabeth Sladen this Saturday before The Impossible Astronaut starts at 6pm. Then after the new episode a special dedication programme titled “My Sarah Jane” will be shown on CBBC and will run for 15 minutes. Elisabeth Sladen played Sarah Jane Smith in Doctor Who and The Sarah Jane Adventures and sadly died of cancer last night. Matt Smith, David Tennant and Russell T Davies payed tribute to the actress who starred alongside Tom Baker in the 70’s and later joined David Tennant for a number of one-off appearances, then going on to have her own show, The Sarah Jane Adventures, which is CBBC’s most popular show ever.
