Today the complete second series of Torchwood was released on DVD. The boxset comes with 5 discs and features all 13 episodes of the series, a feature on the Life and Death's of Captain Jack Harkness, out takes and deleted scenes. The boxset is out now at all good shops at around the price of £37.99/€60. I got the Torchwood series 2 boxset today.

Last night's fantastic episode of Doctor Who finished with an exciting cliffhanger leading up to next Saturday's episode, Journey's End, which will be 65 minutes long and will air this Saturday at 6.40pm on BBC One. Update: Doctor Who Magazine confirmed it will be 65 minutes long, rather than 60 minutes.
The BBC have now confirmed that Series 4 episode 13 of Doctor Who, Journey's End will be one hour long. This was announced a while back but has now officially been confirmed. This is the first normal episode to be one hour long, others being the Christmas Specials. You can tune into Journey's End on Saturday the 5th of July on BBC One. What do you think of this news? Character Options have now released information on the first set of Doctor Who Series 4 action figures. The figures include the Doctor with 5 Adipose, Donna Noble, Natural Ood, Ood Sigma, Sontaran Commander Skorr, Sontaran Trooper and a Pyrovile Priestest figure and can all be seen in the above image. They are expected to be released on July 31st at the expected price of £7.99 each.

Today the BBC Press Office released the synopsis for episode eleven of Doctor Who Series 4, Turn Left which airs on June 21st at 7pm on BBC One. Below is the synopsis;

Donna's entire world collapses, but there's no sign of the Doctor, as Russell T Davies's Bafta Award-winning time-travelling drama continues. Instead, she finds help from a mysterious blonde woman – a traveller from a parallel universe. But, as Donna and Rose Tyler combine forces, are they too late to save the whole of creation from the approaching darkness?

David Tennant plays the Doctor and Catherine Tate plays his companion, Donna Noble. Billie Piper guest stars as Rose Tyler.

A new trailer for episode 9 of Doctor Who Series 4, Forest of the Dead, is now airing in between advertisement breaks on different BBC Channels across the United Kingdom and Ireland. The trailer features some new clips and can be seen below;

Doctor Who Series 4 Volume One was released today on DVD priced around £17.99. The DVD features the first three episodes of Series 4 of Doctor Who including Partners in Crime, The Fires of Pompeii and Planet of the Ood.
