An award has been given to Doctor Who at the seventh Visual Effects Society Awards. The award went to Doctor Who for the matte paintings in the series 4 episodes Silence in the Library and Forest of the Dead. The paintings in the episodes were made by Simon Wickers, Charlie Bennett, Tim Barter and Arianna Lago. The effects of the Cyberking in the recent Christmas Special, The Next Doctor had also been nominated but unfortuantely lost.
