Matt Smith for 5 Years?
Yesterday The Sun and The Telegraph were reporting that Matt Smith who will replace David Tennant to play the Doctor in 2010, has signed a deal with the BBC to play the role for five years. The newspapers are claiming that he will receive £200,000 for each year he plays the Doctor. A BBC insider apparently said: “Bosses don’t want Matt doing a David and leaving when things are going great.” Please be aware that the BBC has not confirmed these reports which means they may or may not be true.
