BBC Audiobooks have released details about an upcoming 10th Doctor audio adventure called The Rising Night. The audio is written by Scott Handcock and you can read the synopsis for the audio below:

The story of a brand new adventure for the Doctor, as played by David Tennant in the hit BBC One series. The TARDIS arrives in an 18th Century village in the Yorkshire Moors, where livestock has been vanishing from the farmland and strange lights have been seen in the skies. Something is very wrong here, and he soon becomes involved in a nightmarish adventure, in which he is helped by a young local woman named Charity. Who is feeding on the blood of the locals, and where will the carnage stop...?

It is currently unknown who will be reading the audio but that and the cover for the audio will be posted here as soon as they become available. The Rising Night is the fourth in a series of original audiobook adventures including Pest Control, The Forever Trap and The Nemonite Invasion. The Rising Night will be released on the 2nd of July at the RRP of £9.99.
