The new 40 second series five trailer of Doctor Who which will be shown tomorrow night on BBC One will also be shown in the cinema, but in 3D, according to a report from Broadcast. A BBC spokesperson said; “Doctor Who is the appropriate vehicle for 3D. It just fits. It’s a great way to introduce and showcase the new Doctor to younger viewers.” The trailer is expected to be shown before the film “Alice in Wonderland” in the UK.

In other news, the BBC News Entertainment Correspondent Lizo Mzimba revealed on his Twitter page that The Eleventh Hour will be a 60 minute special. He said; “This was mentioned by a few fan sites at end of last week. But, yes, Matt’s first ep The Eleventh Hour will be a 60 min special.”
