Doctor Who to be Filmed in the USA?

According to an article from News Of The World, two of the Doctor Who 2009 Specials are going to be filmed in the USA. The article also states that there's also going to be an American companion and it says that David Tennant will be leaving after the specials and that Steven Moffat is working on a Doctor Who film. You can read the full article here but please note these are just rumours and may all turn out to be false.
In other news the Sun is reporting that there will be another gap year between Series 5 and 6, as there will be a Doctor Who Movie to fill the gap. This may also turn out to be false. Would you like Doctor Who to be filmed in the USA with an American companion? Please leave your comments. Thanks!

Cool post, I doubt this is true. I reckon the Daily Mirror and The Sun have just taken Steven Moffat's recent quote of "I'll make a Who film if it's good enough and doesn't interrupt with the series, that would be appalling". Great imae you made too :D
I would take these rumours with a pinch of salt.
1) Tennent was offered around 1-10 Mil to carry on playing the Docotr and last anyone heard he was close to signing it. Thats all w'eve been told.
2) Everyones juping the gun a bit on the movie as IGN pointed outh when publishing thier article this morning "The BBC are concidering a film for the big screen" with Moffet commenting "IF they decide to do a movie he'll have no objections to writing it as 90 minutes is just like writing a two part story."
i think it would ruin it if it was permatly filmed in the usa mayb for one ep tho
Cool post and Image. I doubt that any of these Rumours from The News of the World or The Sun are truthful in any context. Doctor Who should retain its British Culture.
